We advise you fly to the nearest airport, which is Izmir. It takes about 2 hours by car or bus to get to Ayvalik from there. We are investigating local travel options to and from Ismir for delegates.
From Istanbul: You can take a direct bus or first take the ferry to Bandirma and then the bus to Ayvalik (shortest route). www.ido.com.tr

From Greece: you can take the ferry from Lesbos, you arrive 1h 30m later.
