On Friday 17 April Helen Gadsby and Janet Speake, Senior Lecturer in Geography, Liverpool Hope University led a HERODOT workshop on Moving Geography Forward in collaboration with Karl Donert and Glenda Wall.
This was a discussion forum to investigate the current position of geography education in schools across the European Union and share ideas and practice in moving the subject forward using expertise from a range of examples across the European Union.
Members of the network from 9 countries attended having prepared discussion papers in advance of the event.
