This event brought geographers, teachers, educators and administrators together from Greek and Turkish Cypriot organisations.
'The event was organised by the Department of
Education Sciences at European University-Cyprus
(which is a Herodot partner), in collaboration with
POST-Research Institute under the framework of a
research project entitled Exploring Europe and
Ourselves: Geographies and Identities at Work”
(#47351_07_010), funded by the United Nations Development Programme-Action for Cooperation and Trust (ACT).
The project is conducted with the support of HERODOT (Network for Geography in Higher Education in Europe), EUROGEO, Teacher Trade Unions across the divide (Cyprus Greek Teachers' Organisation, POED; Cyprus Turkish Secondary Education Teachers' Union, KTOEÖS; Cyprus Turkish Teachers’ Trade Union, KTÖS; Association of Secondary School Geographers-OELMEK), the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research
and the Centre for the Study of Childhood and Adolescence.'
